IMMIGRATION

Immigration law is a wide and very complex subject that requires the assistance of a competent lawyer. Our law offices carry years of experience helping foreign nationals immigrate to the United States in various ways, including through business immigration, family immigration or asylum, as well as transitioning to a VISA with a pathway to citizenship.

If you are unsure whether you should hire an attorney - trust us, you should. Hiring an immigration lawyer is critical when your legal status is at risk, especially if you are placed in deportation or removal proceedings.  If you or a family member's application is denied by USCIS, or detained by ICE, an immigration lawyer should be consulted immediately. We may be able to appeal the decision or help get you released from immigration detention on an immigration bond

These are just a few examples, among many, of why having an experienced immigration lawyer to represent you is critical.

U-VISA

The U visa is a United States nonimmigrant visa which is set aside for victims of crimes (and their immediate family members) who have suffered substantial mental or physical abuse while in the U.S. and who are willing to assist law enforcement and government officials in the investigation or prosecution of the criminal activity.

VAWA

You may be eligible for a self-petition green card if you are the abused spouse of a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, if you have a child who has been abused by your American citizen or permanent resident spouse, if you are the parent of an American citizen, and you have been abused by that American citizen child, or if you are an abused child under 21, unmarried and have been abused by your American citizen or permanent resident parent.

Citizenship

Becoming a lawfully recognized United States citizen is a life-changing experience for almost everyone who achieves it. Once you complete the naturalization process, you are afforded almost every single right that a native-born U.S. citizen enjoys, including the rights to vote in elections, own a U.S. passport, serve on a jury, and hold most types of government jobs and public offices.

However, there are several qualifying criteria you must meet and procedures you must follow before you can successfully apply for naturalization citizenship, all of which could be much easier to handle with guidance from a seasoned immigration attorney
